Ok so these beauties come in three shades. Take it from serene to extreme with seven crease-resistant, fade-resistant, long-wearing, buildable colours.
Palette 1- Warm with shade of Peach and Brown - for a more natural look.
Palette 2 - Cool with shades of Black and Silver.
Palette 3 - Cool with shades of Pink and Purple.
I really cant wait to get my hands on Palette #2 :) I love to do a smoky eye with dark shades etc it is my signature look :)
Want to know which shades will suit you best? Then you need to figure out whether you have Fair, Medium, Dark or Olive skin. Once you know what skin type you have, you need to decide whether you have cool tones, so with no make up on and in natural light look at your face; if you have blues and purples in your skin then you're a cool tone, if your skin is naturally reddish/pink you're a warm tone.
- People with warm skin tones can wear eye shadow with a golden hue, such as greens, browns, gold or pinks.
- If you are a cool skin type, pick eye shadows in blues, grays, silver, pinks, and plums. Choose an eye shadow that is right for your eye colour and skin colour as well as your skin tone.
- For darker skin types and eye colours, darker, bolder eye-shadow is easier to wear.
To look at my skin, the areas under my eyes etc have the purple-ish/blue hue to them. Although my cheeks are flushed with pink :)
Eye Colours -
- Blue Eyes
With blue eyes, you should stay far away from blue eyeshadow. If you want you eyes to pop and look mesmerizing then try wearing earth-tones, such as browns with a slight purple base, taupe, and slate coloured grays. If you want to have a little fun outside of the earth-tones, then try a nice rose coloured eyeshadow. - Brown Eyes
Brown eyes can get away with wearing almost any colour of eyeshadow. But if you want you eyes to pop then try either green eyeshadow or pink eyeshadow. With brown eyes, you can also use blue eyeshadow, and if you have gold flecks in your eyes you may want to try an eyeshadow that has a gold shimmer to it. Brown eyes can even pull-off wearing brown eyeshadow, but be careful because certain tones can look muddy against your beautiful brown eyes. - Green/Hazel Eyes
In order to get green eyes to pop, you should try wearing various purple shades. The contrast in colour to your eyes will make them seem more dramatic. If you want your eyes to stand out but look more natural, you may want to try warmer mocha brown shades or warm colours with slight orange undertones. Basic eyeshadow colours for green eyes would be earth tones with slight hints of gold, taupe colours, mocha browns, and lavender-purple shades.
